At Creative Hands, we’re proud to offer Victorian Government-funded Kindergarten programs that support every child’s development in the years before school. Designed for children aged 3 to 5, our Kindergarten programs provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning in a nurturing and play-based environment.

Whether you’re enrolling in 3-Year-Old or 4-Year-Old Kindergarten, your child will benefit from a program that focuses on confidence, independence, and school readiness — all guided by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.

What is Funded Kindergarten?

Funded Kindergarten is part of the Victorian Government’s initiative to ensure all children can access high-quality early education. Eligible children are entitled to:

  • 15 hours per week of funded kindergarten

  • Free or low-cost access for eligible families

  • A program delivered by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher

At Creative Hands Early Learning Centre, we fully support this initiative and are proud to offer both 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten programs at no additional cost to eligible families.

With a focus on school readiness, we help each child develop the emotional and practical skills they’ll need for a smooth and confident transition to primary school.

At Creative Hands, our Kindergarten programs are integrated into our long day care hours — meaning you get the benefits of a funded Kindergarten program with the convenience of full-day care. This is especially valuable for working families who want a quality early learning experience without compromising their daily routine.

Is My Child Eligible?

Your child is eligible for:

  • 3-Year-Old Kindergarten: If they turn 3 by 30 April of the enrolment year

  • 4-Year-Old Kindergarten: If they turn 4 by 30 April of the enrolment year and have not already accessed the program
